My name is Achyutanand Upadhyay.
I am a Graphic Designer. I was born and raised in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Yes! Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. I have always had a passion for creating new things. I love reading and was lucky enough to have a family where everyone is a government employee as a teacher. And, here I am, trying to make a dent in the universe. I am excited to see where the graphic design takes me, and how I grow as a designer.
What does the future look like? I asked myself a lot as a kid. My story is pretty much like every other kid that grew up in the late ’90s. Sunday morning cartoons, afternoon Shaktimaan, evening Fox Kids, video games, milk with Bournvita, Nani ke ghar in summer. As a child, I drew in all the empty spaces of my homework, on wall, made home-made scrapbooks and created my own brand of greeting cards for friends. Those early obsessions have influenced my work and life permanently.
For as long as I can remember I have also used to express my creativity through writings. I am a secret writer too. At the age of fifteen, I made a bold decision to give up traditional family background and take admission to design school. I was looking for a new challenge. I went on to earn my Masters in Communication Design with a specialization in Graphic Design from Avantika University. After and during post-graduation, I worked in several companies and places like Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Being a professional designer is quite an honor. Not only do I get a chance to work with a variety of wicked smart people, but I get to help make their business goals come true. I love getting the chance to learn about new industries as well as the challenges that coincide with them. Using my skill as a visual designer opens me up to a colorful life of possibility.
In December of 2019, I launched Kalptree design studio with a heavy focus on design and creative services. As the needs of my clients continued to grow, I worked side-by-side as a freelance designer. At Kalptree design studio I am focused on building strategic, innovative, and creative ways to communicate that message across all your marketing efforts.
