Grammar is the pillar of any language; understanding grammar is essential to grasp a language. Over the years, many scholars have crafted textbooks to make teaching the new generation easier. Through their dedication to students, they have brought to light the Bengali grammar with simplicity, thus discarding the complexity that often surrounded Sanskrit-influenced Bengali grammar. A prominent example of such an author is Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay. Driven by a sense of responsibility towards his students, he pioneered this unique Bengali grammar, making it more accessible. The publication of 'Abhinaba Bangla Byakoron' took place in 1940. This book lacks the pedantic language commonly found in textbooks. During that time, the book had received due recognition among the student community. However, with time, the publication of 'Abhinaba Bangla Byakoron' ceased. Yet, like great creations of minds, a creation by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay cannot simply disappear. Therefore, we believe that this new version of the book will not only excite the grammar enthusiasts but also thrill those who admire the dedication of Bibhutibhushan. Preface and edited by Parthajit Gangopadhyay.
