Shri A.B. Nayak a poet, is originally a resident of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. His father's name is Shri Sudhakar Nayak and mother's name is Smt. Vidya Devi. His grandfather, late Pandit Shri Shiv Prasad Nayak, who was arrested by the British during the freedom struggle and kept in Jabalpur Central jail for nine months, has made significant contributions to his life. He completed his early education in Jabalpur and then pursued higher education, obtaining a diploma from Government Polytechnic College, Shahdol, and later graduating in Law . Currently, Shri A.B. Nayak has been retired from service as the Chief Manager at Coal India, a Government of India undertaking, and has served the nation for 34 years .He has been superannuated on 31 July 2024. His family includes his wife, Smt. Sushma Pandey, who is an advocate at the Madhya Pradesh High Court, Jabalpur, and two daughters, Niharika Pandey, an Industrial Designer, and Nivedita Pandey, a Finance Manager. Exercise, yoga, and cycling are his hobbies.
