The only mathematics necessary is intermediate algebra and a little trigonometry although the rate of change concept is used occasionally, as in the determination of the thermal stability of a transistor amplifier; calculus is not necessary at all. The text provides firm foundation for applications in the fields of communications and computers by covering an important link between basic electricity and advanced electronics applications.
