Vallabh Vedantacharya Shri Shyam Manohar Goswamy (IAST: Śyāma Manohara Gosvāmī, Hindi: श्याम मनोहर गोस्वामी, Gujarati: શ્યામ મનોહર ગોસ્વામી) also known as Shyamu Bava (IAST: Śyāmu Bāvā, Hindi: शयामू बावा, Gujarati: શ્યામુ બાવા), is the 16th descendent of Mahaprabhu Shri Vallabhacharya (the founder of Shudh Advaita Vedant philosophical school of Hinduism). He is the foremost contemporary scholar and a great literary author in this philosophy of Pure Non Dualism. Vallabhacharya was a philosopher, spiritual leader, active reformer, guru and founder of the Krishna-centered Pushtimarg sect of Vaishnavism. Shri Shyamubava was born on 26 June 1940 (age 78) in Mumbai, India. He is tirelessly committed to research, author and publish all identifiable and yet unpublished works of Mahaprabhu Shri Vallabhacharya. He has constructed a structured philosophical study curriculum and teaches an advanced course in English, Sanskrit and Hindi on “Vallabh Vedant” in the respected University of Mumbai’s Philosophy Department as the penultimate expert in this philosophy. He presided over a national seminar on Vaishnav contribution to Kashi in 2001. He was the lecturer on Vallabh Vedanta at the 91st session of the Indian philosophical congress held in February 2017 at the Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies in Madhya Pradesh, India.

World renowned Indian classical vocalist Shri Pandit Jasraj has done extensive research in Haveli Sangeet under Shyam Manohar Goswami to create numerous innovative bandish (composition). Shri Shyamubava plays the Xylophone as his chosen instrument for devotional practice of Indian Classical Music.
