Many Lives, Many Masters is a book which tells the true story of how the author used past-life therapy to treat his 27 year old patient, Catherine.
Dr. Weiss was a firm believer in the conservative nature of his profession and did not have faith in any treatments that were unorthodox. However, his viewpoints completed changed when he met Catherine in 1980. She suffered from phobias, panic attacks and anxiety and Dr. Weiss's treatments did not seem to help. Eventually, he started using hypnosis and that is when his patient started talking about her past lives. The psychiatrist was shocked to see that the Hindu concept of reincarnation was actually true. Catherine described her different lives, with minute details about her genders, names, physical appearance and more. These sessions helped break the doctor's own mental rigidity. His patient also channelled messages to him from Masters, who lived in body-less spirits. She spoke about Dr. Weiss's dead son and some other family secrets of his that served to convince him.
Many Lives, Many Masters is in its Hindi edition and has been published by Indra Publishing House in 2008. It is available in paperback.
