Robin Cohen is Professor Emeritus of Development Studies, University of Oxford and has worked at 9 universities in Africa, the UK, the Caribbean and the US. He was born in South Africa to migrant parents and identifies with migrants and refugees from everywhere.
He is author of 10 books, co-author of 2 and editor/ co-editer of 21 further volumes. He writes on on the sociology and politics of developing areas, ethnicity, international migration, transnationalism, diaspora, creolization and globalisation.
