He teaches courses in Operations Management, Sales & Operations Planning, Project Management, and Global Operations Strategy. He also teaches in customized Executive Education Programs. His research currently focuses on augmented reality in manufacturing, quality inspections & improvement, and human judgment in sales & operations planning processes. Siemsen has been published in leading academic journals such as Management Science, Organization Science, Journal of Operations Management, Production & Operations Management, Strategic Management Journal, and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. His work has also been featured in the Harvard Business Review and the California Management Review.
