Abigail Shrier

Abigail Shrier received the Barbara Olson Award for Excellence and Independence in Journalism in 2021. Her bestselling book, Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters (2020), was named a ‘Best Book’ by The Economist and The Times (of London). It has been translated into ten languages.
Her new book, Bad Therapy: Why the Kids Aren't Growing Up has been praised as "a pacy...thought-provoking, though uncomfortable read" by the Financial Times and "a message that parents, teachers, mental health professionals and policymakers need to hear" by the New Statesman. The Sunday Independent has hailed the book as "brave and brilliant" and "compelling and groundbreaking."
She holds an A.B. from Columbia College, where she received the Euretta J. Kellett Fellowship; a B.Phil. from the University of Oxford; and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
