About the Author"Dr. Santosh Kumar serves as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He holds an M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, with a specialization in diasporic communication among the Indian diaspora in England. His field study was supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). Dr. Kumar’s expertise spans human communication, the societal impact of journalism, film theory, migration, diaspora studies, transnationalism, multiculturalism, and social inequality. He has organized numerous national seminars and presented over 26 research papers at esteemed conferences. A seasoned academic, he has supervised five doctoral theses and edited four significant booksDiaspora, Emigration and Inequality (2023), Transgender, Society and Media (2023), A Discourse on TransgenderSociety and Media Worldwide (2023), and A Discourse on TransgenderRepresentation in Media and Society (2024). Dr. Sunita Sonwani is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. She also serves as a Proctor and a Member of the IQAC Board at the university. Dr. Sonwani earned her Ph.D. from the School of Studies in Geography, Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, with her dissertation titled Changes in the Morphology of Raipur City. An active academic and organizer, Dr. Sonwani has served as the Organizing Secretary for a National Seminar and coordinated a three-day National Webinar. She has presented over 40 research papers at various international and national seminars, reflecting her commitment to advancing geographical research.
