Economic Diplomacy: India’s Ascendancy in the 21st Century is a unique book which brings out the experiences of practitioners of Indian economic diplomacy into the public domain. This curated collection consists of essays, case studies and anecdotal recollections penned by former and serving diplomats and officials, who have been first-hand participants in India’s economic diplomacy endeavours. This book will serve as an enduring repository of knowledge on the nuts and bolts underpinning India’s economic engagement with the world.
The book highlights how economic diplomacy efforts have been instrumental in achieving India’s development objectives, and is intended to serve as institutional memory and guide the next generation of India’s diplomatic corps towards securing India’s economic interests globally.
