The author is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, Tamilnadu, India and had completed PG at NIT Trichy, formarly known as REC Trichy, Tamilnadu, India. He had done his PhD at AnnaUniversity, Chennai, Tamilnadu. He have 20 years of experience in teaching profession. Now to satisfy his passion to do some good contribution to Tamil literature, he have taken it as a mission to spread the works of AVVAIYAR, the famous female tamil poet, worldwide by translating and explaining them in English and including them in the storehouse of digital media. Now he had translated her major work ‘AATHICHUDI’. This book will only be a starting point for his effort to bring some good books of ancient Tamil literature which could be very useful for the modern world. Thirukkural is the only book which got its due exposure and reached worldwide audience and many other great works have not seen their day yet. The great works of Avvaiyar can fill some gaps available in the moral space of the modern world today.
