I am a laparoscopic surgeon and endoscopist by profession, with a passion for writing, be it professional articles, travelogues, book reviews, music reviews or stories. I am a self-styled musicologist, with a huge personal collection of music and music related books. Having been an avid reader of all sorts of books since my childhood, I had always dreamed of writing a book of my own. This is my first attempt at a full length book based on personal experiences as a young soldier-doctor.

My wife Veena and I live in Bangalore during the winter months, and spend summers in London, where my son and daughter are settled. I am currently working on a book about our pet dog Rufus.
